Write!

Write! has a simple and distraction-free interface. From this interface you can create new text documents and you can open existing documents and edit them. Write! provides support for TXT, RTF, and MDOWN formats. It saves documents as the WTT native file format.

A setup wizard will help you install Write! on your PC. Click the “Options” button on the setup wizard’s interface and you will get to choose where Write! will be installed and you will get to associate Write! with TXT, RTF, and MDWON formats.

Write!, as mentioned above, has a simple and distraction-free interface. It must be added that Write! has a tabbed interface. The main panel presents the text you’re working on; the button in the upper left hand side allows you to access a File Menu; tabs for all open documents are presented next to the File Menu. It will take very little time to figure out the interface.

Write! is a text editor – and it has the functionality you would expect to get from a text editor: write any text you want; copy and paste text into the editor; underline, bold, strikethrough, and play with other formatting options; change the text color; insert hyperlinks; there’s a built-in spell checker that provides support for multiple languages; you can easily scroll through large documents; you can use various keyboard shortcuts to get things done faster; and more.

Write! truly is a very useful text editor. As someone who works with text a lot, a really liked its distraction-free interface and all its text editing options.
